Was it on your blog that I first heard of the movie Friendly Persuasion? Anyway, last night I started watching it...and this morning I read your quote from the book. I guess I should read the book, too.
ReplyDeleteHi Amy! I don't think it was here because I just watched the movie for the first time a week or two ago. I did then go and reread the book which I found even more delightful than the movie, except for the last two or three chapters which hit a completely different tone — for me anyway. I hope you like the book!
