    I grew up watching this on the PBS station at Central Michigan University, which also showed Dr Who and the first (funny) seasons of Dave Allen.

    Yes! Emma and Steed ARE The Avengers; civilized (or, rather, civilised) people will not bother with the computer-graphic cartoons for children.
