Parents

Walking contradictions
Never making sense
"Because I said so"
In their defense
The statement spreads all over
Appearing like a cancer
Weren't they ever told?
"Because" isn't an answer!

I read this and looked at Rose who hastened to say, "You never used that answer ..."

Dang right we never did ... for that very reason.
