Worth a Thousand Words: Hyena Cave Painting

I found this compelling as art. Then, also, the hyena image resonated since I just read Kirinyaga by Mike Resnick. Plenty of hyenas in that, I can tell you.

  2. You should look into "Sister Wendy's, The Story of Painting". It is a wonderful British documentary on the history of art, starting with the cave paintings in Lascaux. She is constantly looking for how art expresses what it means to be human. I found at least the first episode on Youtube.
