Worth a Thousand Words: The Young Shepherdess

The Young Shepherdess, William-Adolphe Bouguereau, 1885

Bouguereau is one of my favorite artists although usually the paintings I see featured are religious in nature. I love those for their gentle nature but I was pleased to find a good sprinkling of other sorts of paintings in the post where I found this little shepherdess.
