Well Said: The Center of God's Will

I am listening exclusively right now to The Hiding Place by Corrie ten Boom. For those who don't know, it is the first-hand nonfiction story of a Dutch woman whose family hid Jews after the Nazis invaded Holland and who subsequently were sent to a concentration camp.

It is hitting me perfectly for Lent, especially with their example of daily life which takes up a great deal of the first third or so of the book. I can't recommend it enough. This quote will be going into my journal, especially when I think of how fearful we tend to be these days.
There are no “if’s” in God’s world. And no places that are safer than other places. The center of His will is our only safety -- O Corrie, let us pray that we may always know it!

I certainly am grateful to christianaudio for their free download. (You can still get it for yourself ... go on over.)

Julie - Thank you so much for posting this link. The book is on my mandatory reading list for the kids to read before graduation. I'm beside myself thrilled to be able to get a free audio version.

I read it when in high school and can't believe I haven't picked it up since then. It is so chock-full of wonderful moments. And the reading is just terrific. Enjoy! :-)
