I had the most wonderful conversation this morning with Kris McGregor from Inside the Pages.
First off, I love anyone who has Mrs. Peel as her avatar. Period.
Second, she was just a delight to talk with. And, though this is not really a plus for everyone else, she let me keep on talking and talking and ... talking ...
Did I mention that she is very patient?
I am not sure when it will air but we (mostly me) do talk about happiness, being Catholics, and much more. Much more ... imagine how surprised I was when Lethal Weapon suddenly popped into my consciousness and out of my mouth.
PLUS I discovered that she did a series with Joseph Pearce about Cultural Apologetics Through Literature ... and ... wait for it ... they did an episode on Harriet Beecher Stowe! Be still my heart!
Though I was greatly saddened to see that he discusses Emily Bronte instead of Charlotte. Et tu, Joseph? Wuthering Heights instead of Jane Eyre? *sigh* Well, I will let that pass as I see Mary Shelly, Nathaniel Hawthorne, and some other great choices there. (Because I am the arbiter of great literature, right? Don't answer that ...)
You can get it through iTunes which is what I'm doing or check the sidebar at Inside the Pages.
2 brave one(s) among us:
have you see JANE EYRE yet? It's quite good!
I have definitely wanted to, but we get out to very few movies. So it is on my rental list. :-)
