I love Sorolla's paintings. I had never heard of him until I visited the Hispanic Society of America's museum in upper Manhattan - they have an important collection of his paintings, including wall-sized paintings depicting the different regions of Spain, commissioned for the museum. Their collection is well worth seeing.
