Our prayer for those who give us light should be unceasing. With the storms that rage in the church today, what would we do without them?
If some clergy have gone bad, the good ones shine more brilliantly.
May it please the Lord to keep those who lead the church under his care. God help them that they may help us.

Well Said: St. Teresa one more time
Yet another excerpt from a little daily wisdom. Let's remember that St. Teresa was from Spain at the time of the Spanish Inquisition. Yep, she had personal problems with the Church but didn't lose sight of what was important.

Thanks very much for that one.
I am blessed to attend two local parishes that have priests who really do shine. And, that is one of several reasons my daily Mass attendance is up. I so crave Christ and the Light that I am ever more drawn to it.
Secondly, it's useful to have this quote in hand. I have a friend who states as his reason for leaving the Faith was bad advice he got from a priest when he was very young.
