Funnily enough I have just made a written complaint to my ISP about my last experience with their technical 'support'. Hrmmph. So much like this scenario. Woman kept trying to tell me I had a problem with my modem-router. We had this convo for over an hour. Three people later, problem sorted. They had changed my username and password unilaterally, with no notification whatsoever!!!!!
