My Defining Post

As we may recall, prompted by Jen at Conversion Diary, I put this question out there. Not too many people answered, however I found it interesting to see the variety of directions in which their thoughts ran.

There are the features are regulars around here:

• Worth a Thousand Words where there is fine art displayed on weekdays.
• A quote from one of my quote journals (yes "journals" ... I have four of them at present), falling into one of three categories: Well Said, Lagniappe (a little something extra and frivolous), and A Word From Our Sponsor. Also a weekday feature.
• Blogging Around, an occasional feature that generally appears weekly or so. Links to different stories in the blogosphere that are too good to leave to my Google Reader links in the sidebar.
• Weekend Joke
  
• First Friday Fast to End Abortion

For others, there are specific issues that came to mind:

• A series I wrote (unintentionally ... I didn't intend it to become a series) about our dissatisfaction with the local newspaper and switching to the Wall Street Journal:

What comes to my mind is something I wrote waaaay back in August 2004. I have written other posts since then that combine my faith and my life, of course. However, for me this is a defining post:

  I use this constantly, by the way, and if you're not familiar with it I encourage you to go read it. It really will help change your life for the better.
